The Deadly Pesticide Banned Worldwide - But Still in Use Here
Roundup is a type of deadly herbicide that, as it turns out, also endangers our health. Although banned worldwide, schools, kindergartens, farmers, and more in the country continue using it.

#VALUE!
The carcinogenic herbicide
We all understand that using various pesticides on lawns, fruit trees, and decorative plants is necessary, but what do we do when a pesticide is so deadly it endangers our health? Indeed, we ban it. This is what has recently been decided regarding an herbicide called 'Roundup' by the World Health Organization, which researched and found that Roundup's components are carcinogenic.
We don't want to dwell on why it was approved in the first place. The more important question is - why is it still in use here while many countries around the world have already enforced regulations to ban 'Roundup'?

It seems that the offices responsible for granting approvals in the country - the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection - still have differing opinions: the Ministry of Agriculture claims that all pesticides used in the country have been approved by a Ministry of Health committee, whose role is to assess the safety and risks of the product. According to the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the responsibility lies with the Ministry of Agriculture, and what does the Ministry of Health tell us on this issue?
The good news is they are taking responsibility and admitting that the cancer-causing nature of the substance was discovered only recently, and therefore - the committee will reconvene to re-discuss the issue. The committee will review the new data received from relevant bodies in the USA and Europe, and reclassify the product as necessary.
Why haven't they decided to ban the dangerous substance from use, plain and simple? A good question, which has not yet found an answer.
