Homeopathy: A Pleasant Introduction
Classical homeopathy is based on principles that are precisely echoed in the sacred Torah and the words of our sages. Why should you consider it before seeing a doctor?

#VALUE!
With over 200 years of experience worldwide, including use by nobility, government leaders, and the British royal family, as well as everyday people in far-off India, it's clear that those of all ages who have turned to classical homeopathy have overcome short-term and chronic health issues and significantly improved their quality of life.
Classical homeopathy is a renowned, successful, and effective method for treating patients gently and efficiently, without unnecessary pain or suffering. It is suitable for treating both chronic and acute illnesses.
True healing means that once a medical problem is uprooted, it does not return. The body and soul, viewed as a single unit, are freed from illness.
This freedom from illness also increases energy and vitality, improves sleep quality and general feeling, and significantly boosts mental and physical resilience, reinforcing the immune system and maintaining the body's and soul's internal balance.
Particularly notable efficiency is observed in the recovery of young children and infants, who quickly regain balance and recover, maintaining their mental and physical resilience over time.
An additional substantial advantage of homeopathic treatment is that it is free of chemicals or side effects, is non-addictive, and is thus suitable for pregnant and nursing women, as well as infants and children.
The Secret to Success in Homeopathy
Classical homeopathy, a precise healing method involving research, clinical documentation, and medicinal preparations, was officially founded over 200 years ago by German physician Samuel Hahnemann. Disillusioned with the ineffective healing methods of his time, he devotedly wrote and disseminated the principles of real healing, despite opposition from conventional doctors who ostracized and persecuted him. His many clinical successes spread classical homeopathy as an effective treatment against major epidemics worldwide, accumulating substantial medical knowledge used to this day.
Hahnemann asserted that the roots of all ailments are primarily spiritual and personal. Furthermore, the healing process is not spontaneous and has clear and explicit principles and guidelines.
The explicit guidelines for the language of illness and the ways to heal require the healer to view the progression of a person's illnesses as one unit. Following these principles can indicate whether the health condition is improving or deteriorating.
For example, every classical homeopath knows that if a patient recovers from a skin disease and develops a respiratory problem sometime later, their health has worsened, regardless of the treatment of the skin problem. The illness has shifted to a more critical and vital system, the respiratory system. Conversely, if someone recovers from a respiratory problem through genuine treatment and instead develops a temporary skin issue, they are on the path to health. The illness has released its hold from the vital respiratory system and temporarily moved to the skin, the illness's final exit route.
Homeopathic evidence worldwide for over 200 years has proven the truth and reliability of these healing principles.
Jewish homeopaths, aware of the clear and remarkable truth of this healing method, looked for its source in the sacred Torah. If this method leads to true healing, it should have a foundation in Torah and the words of our sages.
Over the years, deep investigation and comparison evolved between the principles of classical homeopathy and those found in sacred texts, resulting in a fascinating one-to-one correspondence.
This summary is presented to you.
The foundation for comparison comprises the three fundamental principles of classical homeopathic healing, as outlined by Samuel Hahnemann in his book "The Organon":
Principle of Unity
In the initial sections of his writings, Hahnemann notes that humans are one complete unit, and the body is the means through which the soul/spirit speaks. Illness, like health, originates primarily in the spiritual realm, in the world of causes. Hence, if there is pain or deep conflict in a patient's mental or spiritual world, it will manifest physically as an illness. Therefore, physicians should not focus solely on treating affected tissues or organs, as this will not lead to healing.
Similarly, in our sources, the body and soul are interconnected. Our sages equated the body’s 613 organs and sinews with the 613 commandments, indicating that each organ functions well or poorly according to the mitzvah (spiritual aspect) it represents. The Maggid of Mezeritch added, "A small hole in the body indicates a big hole in the soul."
From another aspect, Hahnemann advises healers to administer only one remedy at a time, without mixing different medicines. This fundamental rule in classical homeopathy ensures patients receive only one remedy at a time, except in particularly exceptional cases.
It isn't surprising that in the sources, Maimonides, the greatest Jewish physician, advocated for this healing principle: "And everything that can be accomplished with a single, separate remedy should not be treated by complex compositions, unless it cannot be helped but by the complex..." (Guide for the Perplexed Chapter 34 Section 22).
In summary, the sages in our sources argued that true healing cannot occur unless the human body is considered a unified whole with the soul and the inner world, and a single appropriate remedy is provided at the right time. Temporary symptom relief without considering the individual's soul does not lead to genuine and lasting healing that truly frees a person from their illness.
Similia Similibus Curantur
According to this principle by Samuel Hahnemann, any disease, mental or physical, will only be expelled if it receives identical information. Any contradictory information won't lead to true healing but rather weakens the patient.
This principle is also present in our sources. Here are three examples that demonstrate how the principle of "like cures like" is deeply rooted in the world of Torah.
Story 1:
Occurs after the Exodus from Egypt, while the Israelites wandered in the desert, finding the water to be very bitter. Moses cried out and was instructed to sweeten the water by introducing bitterness. Thus, the bitter cures the bitter.
In the book of Exodus, Chapter 15, Verse 25, it states: "And he cried unto the Lord; and the Lord showed him a tree, and he cast it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them." Our sages said that the tree was bitter.
Rabban Shimon ben Gamliel added: "Behold how different the ways of Hashem are from the ways of flesh and blood. Flesh and blood heal the bitter with the sweet, but Hashem cures the bitter with the bitter. How so? He places that which damages within that which is damaged to perform a miracle."
Story 2:
Another example of "like cures like" in the Torah is found in the story of the sin of the Golden Calf. Moses healed the Israelites from their transgression with a concoction made from the calf itself (this is how homeopathic remedies are still prepared).
In Exodus, Chapter 32, Verse 20, it is written: "And he took the calf which they had made, and burned it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and scattered it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink it."
The essence of the calf, finely ground by Moses, was mixed in the water and given to the Israelites. Similarly, all homeopathic remedies are made from specific material preserved in water after being diluted and shaken.
Story 3:
Another example of "like cures like" in our holy Torah is the story of the bronze serpent. Many people died from the venomous snake bites sent among them. Moses crafted a bronze serpent, and those bitten could look at it and be healed. The snake that bites is the snake that heals.
In the book of Numbers, Chapter 21, Verse 9, it says: "And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived."
In summary, Hashem teaches us that to effect true healing, we must speak the original and high language of illness, which is not physical but spiritual. Therefore, the remedy must be as well.
Even today, homeopathic medicines are made in this way. The material from which the medicine is made (in classical homeopathy only) is mixed into water, and this mixture undergoes multiple dilutions and succussions until only water remains containing the spiritual memory of the material.
This spiritual memory, tailored by a skilled homeopath to the spiritual ailment of the patient, brings healing to the body and soul. This is one of the healing arts of Hashem, who instructed Moses and continues for eternity - "For You are a merciful and faithful God; blessed are You, O God, who heals the sick of His people Israel" (from the Amidah prayer).
The Principle of Individuality
Samuel Hahnemann strongly emphasizes this principle, requiring the physician to manage the treatment process with special attention to the patient's personality, not just their organs and tissues. Every person is unique and special; their healing path is personal to them.
This fundamental homeopathic principle is also found in our sources and is considered an essential principle by the greatest ancient physicians and healers: In the Guide for the Perplexed, Part Three, Chapter 34, Maimonides teaches that "The composition of the remedy must be tailored to every individual according to his temper at that time! It is not just that two people with the same illness should not receive the same prescription (the same medicine), but even the same person should not receive the same prescription each time, but should be seen daily...".
Maimonides further stated: "The soul is revealed to us in every smile, gaze, and hand movement... the soul is always apparent, even in a person's sleep, in their gross physical movements... The expression of the lips, the speech, the voice...".
Therefore, today, every homeopath worldwide, operating according to the principles of classical homeopathy, including the principle of individuality, must diligently interview the person, understand their personality, coping mechanisms, emotional pains, and dreams. They must also account for their likes and dislikes.
A remedy will always be customized to the person as a whole, not to the disease, as the disease or physical symptom represents the individual's spiritual ailment. Several people might suffer from a migraine (or any other identical physical symptom), yet each will receive a different homeopathic remedy, and all will be healed.
The individual is unique, and healing is personal and singular (except in cases of epidemic or unified spiritual illness, as happened with the Israelites in the stories mentioned above, where all suffered precisely the same illness).
Not coincidentally, it is said from Moses (our rabbi, the first homeopath who received the medical foundations from Hashem) to Moses (Maimonides, who continued his path with the same precise principles) – there arose none like Moses.
Reading Maimonides' writings Guide for the Perplexed, "Mishneh Torah," and "Eight Chapters," summarizes his medical doctrine: he advocated several fundamental principles:
1. Restore the individual to health, which is their natural state, perfectly whole in both body and soul.
2. Employ treatment with a single, separate remedy without mixing.
3. The physician must consider the body and soul as one entity, inseparable. Symptoms of the body are gathered alongside symptoms of the soul, expressed through the body, even during sleep.
4. There must be personal customization of the remedy to the individual.
These principles are carefully preserved by homeopathic healers worldwide to this day. Indeed, homeopathy is the most established and renowned medicine, representing the healing principles brought to the world by Hashem and given to Moses. Principles preserved over the years by the greatest healers.
Consequently, a modern homeopath, far removed in capability from Moses or Maimonides, needs considerable talent to fully uphold these principles in practice. They require keen observation skills to identify key symptoms that share a common basis in the body and soul, select the correct homeopathic remedy at the appropriate potency and dosage, and continue correct treatment according to pure healing principles.
Thus, such special treatment based on ancient and pure healing principles delivers positive, stable, and reliable results. Individuals experience profound and genuine improvement in body and soul. Additionally, of course, we must pray daily to merit real healing that results excellently without harm. "Heal us, O God, and we shall be healed; save us, and we shall be saved, for You are our praise; bring uprightness and healing to all our ailments, for You are a merciful and faithful healer. Blessed are You, O God, the healer of His people Israel."
It is important to note that the above pertains only to classical homeopathy and is not relevant in any way to modern homeopathy, which is freely sold in pharmacies and includes a mix of various remedies without individual consultation.
With blessings for complete healing, may we all be healed in the way of Hashem!
