Does someone who purchases mitzvot in the synagogue need to make a formal acquisition?
One who purchases mitzvot in the synagogue does not need to make a formal acquisition on their purchase, since this purchase has the status of charity vows [See Mishpat HaKinyan 1, p. 27].
Is it permissible to accept a donation from a woman?
Charity collectors should not accept from women, servants, or children except for small amounts, but not large amounts which are presumed to be stolen or taken from others. And if the husband objects, it is forbidden to accept even the smallest amount from them. [Shulchan Aruch, Yoreh Deah 248:4].
However, a woman who works and supports herself is permitted to do as she wishes with her money [Chazon Ovadia, Mourning 2, p. 130].
