There’s Nothing Like a Fresh Start!
A powerful reminder to choose, not escape.

#VALUE!
A new beginning- there’s truly nothing like it.
It doesn’t matter how old you are or who you are. Finding the right life partner and starting a new chapter is a fresh start. Beginning a new job? That’s a fresh start. Studying something you’ve never learned before, entering a new environment, choosing a new path- all of these are new beginnings. And they are incredible.
A fresh start is an empowering experience. It gives you the opportunity to rise above your current state and become stronger, wiser, and more capable.
But the one thing that can ruin even the best decision, is escape.
Every escape destroys a choice.
If you’re trying to fix your personal situation, don’t attempt to simultaneously leap into a new future. First, heal. Get out of your current struggles. Then, once you’re free and clear, make your choice about what comes next.
If you’re feeling bad today- emotionally low, surrounded by unhealthy influences- you might want to rush into something just to escape. Someone suggests a potential match for marriage? You jump in, not because you truly want her, but because you’re desperate to get away from what’s behind you. That’s not real choice- that’s an escape. Escape distorts judgment.
A person cannot make a good decision when they’re running away. Real choices are made from a place of clarity.
If it seems to be time to leave a workplace, or a school, or a difficult relationship, step aside and seek guidance. Get real counsel based on values and wisdom, not desperation.
Pause. Recognize where you are. Make space. Then choose, clearly, calmly, and with conviction.
May your choices lead to great success and blessing.
