How Limiting Beliefs Block Your Blessings – And How to Break Free
Jewish wisdom on dissolving subconscious doubts, opening the gates of Heaven, and receiving the abundance meant for you
(Photo: Shutterstock)Limiting beliefs can hold a person back in more ways than one. They impact an individual's personal growth, ability to change their character, and also influence the abundance that is assigned for them from Heaven. The way a person thinks and believes here on earth, awakens corresponding forces above.
If a person has deep-seated subconscious beliefs that there is “no chance” of receiving salvation in a certain area, that person essentially blocks the flow of abundance in that area, and sometimes even prevents prepared blessings from reaching them. When those limiting subconscious beliefs are dissolved, the gates of Heaven open, and the person creates vessels to receive God’s salvation.
One of my students in a bridal coach training course shared that after completing the program, she very much wanted to guide brides, but deep down, she felt anxious about the idea. She didn’t truly believe she could do it properly. When she began working on that limiting belief, brides began reaching out to hear. The fear then returned, she was questioning herself, and the inquiries stopped. She decided to work on this with a professional and release the limiting beliefs within her, and since then, she has been so successful that she sometimes needs to turn people away due to the overwhelming demand.
Another subconscious belief many people hold is that while they believe God can help them, they don’t believe they deserve His help. This limiting belief convinces them: “I’m not righteous enough for God to help me,” or “God doesn’t love me,” or “I’m not worthy of being saved.” Such thinking closes the channels of abundance and blocks goodness from reaching them.
I once knew a woman blessed with many talents, but her mother had always conveyed to her that a person should never succeed “too much” or show others that they are happy. This belief deeply hindered her from wanting to progress or succeed, and she remained stuck. Once she realized what was holding her back, she worked on it, and today, thank God, she is thriving in every area of her life.
