True Faith: Whom Do You Turn to for a Bank Loan?
Just as a prisoner only appeals to the warden for help, understanding that no one else has the power to assist, true faith dictates we turn solely to Hashem for support.

#VALUE!
All the kindnesses that have been done for us since our creation are from Hashem, and just as when we were born, Hashem ensured we received the right nourishment through mother's milk, which is recognized as the best for a newborn, so too have all systems in our childhood developed at the right time to meet our needs. When a Jew understands that Hashem has always helped him, it becomes easier for him to trust that Hashem will continue His kindness.
There Is No One Else
Know in your heart that there is no one else besides Hashem, and no creation can help or harm without His consent. Like a prisoner who relies solely on the prison warden for aid, knowing others have no power to assist, a Jew understands that true help comes only with Hashem's consent.
Our health, too, depends solely on His will, as He is the source of our vitality. Therefore, our trust and hope lie only with Him. Seeking a bank loan is like this; the manager decides, not the clerks. Similarly, in worldly matters and those of the next world, if we know that the sole decider is the King of Kings, then our hope should always be with Him.
Even If I Am Undeserving
"But I trust in Your kindness, my heart will rejoice in Your salvation." Hashem embodies the greatest kindness, and since creation, the kindness people show each other is an emanation from Him. Our sages said even if a wicked person trusts in Hashem, kindness surrounds him due to Hashem's great mercy. "Hashem is good to all, and His mercy is over all His works" (Psalms 136:25). We need to repeat such truths until they penetrate our hearts: "Hashem loves me," "How good is Hashem," especially regarding trust in Him.
Another way to instill true trust in Hashem is to rehearse verses demonstrating His goodness, as shown in "The Promise to the Trustful." Knowing Hashem does not wish to harm us even if we are undeserving, we rely not on our deeds but on His kindness. As scripture notes, "Giver of bread to all flesh, for His kindness endures forever." If the evil inclination challenges you, suggesting your suffering is deserved, respond with the assurance that Hashem declared "I have loved you, says Hashem," and "You are children to Hashem your God."
It may be true that I don't deserve gifts from Hashem and maybe even punishment, but He is my Father, and His love is infinite. Moreover, in His holy Torah, He determined that if we trust in His abundant kindness, we will surely see salvation, as evidenced by King David who stated, "And I trust in Your kindness," meaning knowing that trust in Hashem's kindness assures "my heart will rejoice in Your salvation." Though one might ask, who promised David this salvation, it is essentially a promise from Hashem that anyone in the world who trusts in His great kindness will undoubtedly see their salvation.
