Want Proof That Hashem Is Still Watching Over Us?

Why is it impossible for Hashem to abandon His world? On the eternal divine providence over the eternal people...

I believe Hashem existed in the past; I don't believe He is present now. Am I wrong or right, and why?

Hello and blessings,

Here are 5 proofs that Hashem is still watching over us - recommended reading.

If Hashem stopped watching over us, the universe would return to chaos. This is because Hashem sustains every atom and molecule, enabling our existence at every given moment. Hashem is eternal and infinite, so there's no reality in which He would leave us.

Additionally, Hashem sees all generations from the start. He sees and knows the future and gave the Torah to His people Israel until the complete redemption, with prophecies in the Torah about the end of days proving He oversees our existence.

See here Rabbi Zamir Cohen’s lecture on the prophecies of the end of days.

The People of Israel is the only nation to receive divine instructions openly amidst a whole nation, with divine revelation and miracles proving His control over nature, and no other Torah has influenced the world more than the Jewish Torah.

The survival of the People of Israel also proves Hashem's miraculous control over history, as they are the only nation to weather countless persecutions and antisemitism over thousands of years, scattered across the globe, remaining few in number without rule or army, while ancient empires and nations assimilated and vanished - and after all that, the People of Israel returned to their land after two thousand years of exile, with this entire saga already described in ancient prophesies within a Torah that the Jewish nation has preserved for over 3,300 years. We know the secret to their eternity!

There are many seemingly illogical prophecies in the Torah proving that Hashem delivered it to the Israelites:

There is a prophecy in the Torah that Israel will be exiled from their land -- but how many nations were exiled from their lands?

There is a prophecy in the Torah that Israel will be scattered to all corners of the world -- but how many nations were dispersed globally?

There is a prophecy that despite their small number, Israel will be known worldwide -- but how many small nations have become renowned globally, spoken of by all?

There is a prophecy that Israel will be hated worldwide and maligned -- but how many nations have been despised for thousands of years to the extent that a specific concept like “antisemitism” was coined for them?

There is a prophecy that Israel will remain small yet survive -- but how many nations have managed to survive in small numbers over thousands of years without assimilating or being killed?

There is a prophecy that Israel will be chased in exile but won't be destroyed -- but how many nations have been repeatedly persecuted by mighty empires and not destroyed?

There is a prophecy that the Torah will be known worldwide and all nations will speak of it -- but how many nations have seen their religion become the most published and famous book in the world?

There is a prophecy that Israel will return to their land in the end days -- but how many exiled nations returned to their homeland against all odds?

There is a prophecy stating that no other nation in the world will claim divine revelation before an entire people -- and how many religions out of 4,300 speak of a divine revelation to millions?

(All these prophecies can be found explicitly written in the Book of Leviticus, chapter 26; Deuteronomy, chapters 4 and 30).

It becomes apparent that nothing about the People of Israel is logical. Neither their existence, their Torah, nor their history. The People of Israel have always been above nature, testifying to their being the chosen people, recipients of the Torah, exclusively blessed with divine control over their history. Israel is an eternal nation.

A rational person does not believe in accidental occurrences when the probability of such is too low and unheard of anywhere else in history.

"...Indeed, according to the materialistic and positivist criteria, this nation should have long disappeared. Its existence is a mysterious and wonderful phenomenon, testifying that the life of this nation is conducted by an ancient decree...".

(Russian philosopher Nikolai Berdyaev, 1936, Meaning of History, pages 86-87).

"What is a Jew? This question is not strange as it might seem at first. Let's see what kind of special being is this, whom all rulers and all nations have humiliated, oppressed, expelled, trampled, persecuted, burned, and drowned, and who, in spite of this, continues to live and exist. What is a Jew -- who has never been enticed by any worldly temptation that his oppressors offered as long as he denied his faith and abandoned his ancestral beliefs? A Jew is a symbol of eternity. He is who was first to deliver the word of Hashem; he is who has long retained prophecy and passed it on to all of humanity. Such a people cannot vanish. The Jew is eternal -- he is the embodiment of eternity".

(Leo Tolstoy, from an article published in The Jewish World, London 1908).

Judaism repeatedly proves itself through these supernatural facts in the history of the Children of Israel, indicating their unique mission and destined redemption. This is why the People of Israel are renowned globally, and their Torah is spread worldwide so that the entire world recognizes the People of Israel and their Torah and acknowledges the concepts of Messiah and redemption, so when the true Messiah arrives, the world will be prepared for him, ready for the idea of redemption and correcting the world.

For thousands of years, Hashem has been guiding the world step by step towards its perfection and rectification, with the People of Israel meant to be at the forefront, the chosen people, to be a light to all nations as stated in the Torah: "And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation" (Exodus 19:6).

Please see a booklet I wrote called "A Fateful Dialogue" (search on Google), which describes a dialogue with Hashem on the foundations of faith.

Yours sincerely,

Daniel Bles
