Does the Satan Have Control Over Suffering?

Hello, due to my ongoing suffering, I read and try to understand God's influence on what happens to a person. I read on several religious sites, perhaps also here, that Satan controls some things, or completely controls them, which is why human suffering is immense. I would like to understand this. Everything that exists in reality stems from and is managed by the Creator of the Universe.

Satan is not an independent force but was created in the world in order to test us. The ultimate goal of all suffering is beneficence, similar to a child who sometimes needs an injection and requires discipline and studies, etc., and all their difficulties are intended to develop them and bring them to a higher and higher state. Thus, the soul develops and advances through the various trials in this world.
