This Ambulance Crossed 25 Countries - Breaking a Guinness Record
Four paramedics from the UK entered the record books and became online stars. The reason: they covered over 20,000 kilometers across Europe, through multiple countries. One team member said, "We met amazing people who inspired us to keep going, even in the toughest moments."

A team of four paramedics from the UK made it into the Guinness World Records after completing the longest journey by ambulance, a cross-continental trip that lasted 50 days, during which they covered more than 20,000 kilometers across Europe. This story has been buzzing online in recent days, widely covered by users worldwide.
The incredible journey began in July 2024. The team, consisting of Andy Bernard, Nicholas Jones, Steven Moore, and James Conway, set out with a clear goal: to raise funds and awareness for charities in the emergency services sector. The four encountered numerous challenges along the route, including extreme weather conditions, technical obstacles, and the daily grind of prolonged driving.
During the journey, team members traveled through 25 different countries, stopped at historical sites, met with local emergency crews, and presented their work to various communities. The ambulance they used was a refurbished emergency vehicle equipped with everything needed to handle long trips and varying terrain.
"We wanted to show the power of teamwork and how far you can go when working together for a good cause," said Andy Bernard. "Along the way, we met amazing people who inspired us to keep going, even in the toughest moments."
The journey successfully concluded in September 2024, when the team crossed the finish line in the United Kingdom, breaking the previous record of approximately 19,000 kilometers. This remarkable achievement not only earned them a place in the Guinness World Records but also raised significant funds to support emergency service teams.
"It was an unforgettable experience," said Nicholas Jones. "Seeing the support we received everywhere we went, and knowing our effort contributed to such an important cause, made every moment worthwhile."
