In a special interview conducted as part of an educational project by the ERAN organization for schools nationwide, veteran news anchor Danny Kushmaro revealed a particularly personal and vulnerable side. In a conversation with social activist Or Levi, a window was opened into his private and professional world.

When asked about handling emergencies, Kushmaro revealed: "I'm not always strong, especially in the past year. I've found myself breaking down and shedding a tear a bit too many times for my taste. In the end, we're all human."

Beyond the demanding world of news, Kushmaro emphasized the importance of family in his life. When asked whom he calls first after every broadcast, he answered without hesitation: "It's easy, my parents. After every broadcast - a call to Mom and Dad."

At the beginning of the war, Kushmaro shared the difficult feelings, and he openly spoke out against Hamas. "You hear the voices, see the pictures, and realize the reality has changed. There were moments I felt I couldn't take it anymore. I had to take a break, breathe deeply, and continue."
