Mexico: Police Dress Up as Power Rangers for a Bizarre Reason
Police in Mexico disguised themselves as superheroes during a costume carnival and successfully tracked down a thief suspected of stealing phones from attendees.

Remember the 'Power Rangers' from the 90s? Mexican police decided to dress up just like those superheroes, no more and no less, to track down a suspect in a phone theft.
The police took advantage of the costume carnival customary in the streets of São Paulo, and their appearance blended perfectly among the hundreds of unique costumes people witnessed that day. In a video filmed and became particularly viral on social media, the officers are seen dressed in superhero costumes in the colors of yellow, blue, red, and green, exciting the crowd that called out to them: 'Rangers.'
It seems none of the crowd noticed the additional black-clad Ranger who held in his hands the loot taken from the captured thief - a bag containing several stolen phones that were returned to their owners.
The thief was placed in a patrol vehicle and taken for investigation at the police station.
