The beach, although not fenced or clearly demarcated, has become a pilgrimage destination for the religious community and has gained recognition as a place that respects the Haredi way of life.
Matías Ganisis, a city council representative, noted, "The Jewish community was looking for a place where they could enjoy the sea while maintaining religious and cultural values. We worked together to provide a suitable solution, and the community has warmly embraced the beach."
The beach features a special section for kosher food, and according to local sources, the initiative was met with great enthusiasm, especially after the COVID-19 pandemic. Diego, a lifeguard in the area, explained, "This is a place the Orthodox community had long sought. It is a unique beach that offers a space compatible with their values."
Mayor Sebastián Ianantuoni added, "There are many kilometers of beach here for everyone, but our request is to respect the Jewish beliefs and maintain harmony among all visitors."
The initiative has been praised by religious community leaders, who expressed their gratitude to local authorities for creating a suitable area for the religious public. "This is an important step that allows families to enjoy the sea without compromising their way of life," one of them said.
