Bizarre Footage from Mexico: Yacht Crashes into Rocky Cliff and Sinks
15 tourists narrowly escaped from a yacht that sank off the coast of Mexico after colliding with a cliff.

A terrifying moment was captured this week in Mexico, when a yacht with tourists crashed into the rocks and sank.
The yacht, named Amore Mio, was filmed by onlookers watching nervously from above, minutes before it collided with the cliff. "We saw it swaying from side to side and heard the screams of the people on board," one eyewitness recounted. "We yelled at them to jump into the water and signaled that there were divers on site who would come to rescue them."
In the critical seconds when the yacht hit the rocks, all 15 tourists fell into the water, but luckily the divers had already reached them and dragged them to safety. Videos later shared on social media showed some of the braver tourists jumping into the water without waiting for the yacht to hit the cliff. Another heart-stopping video demonstrated how the yacht slowly sank into the blue waters near Acapulco, with parts breaking off and floating on the sea.
Eyewitnesses informed the local media that strong currents pulled the boat towards the rocks, ultimately causing its crash. According to reports, the tourists rescued from the boat suffered from nervous breakdowns due to the fear they experienced and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Mexican Navy cordoned off the area immediately after the incident.
