Is it permitted to attend a soccer game? I know it’s considered a place without real benefit, and I understand that it may be viewed as a waste of time or a form of lightheadedness. But on the other hand — just as it’s permitted to attend a wedding because of the mitzvah of hachnasat kallah, while going to an ordinary party is not — perhaps the same applies here? Maybe it depends on the level of admiration for the team, and it is only forbidden if one idolizes the players?
The mitzvah of giving joy to a bride and groom as they establish a Jewish home has absolutely no connection to strengthening athletes who spend their time chasing a helpless ball. One should not attend places that are essentially for wasting time without any meaningful benefit. This does not refer to a simple school game played by children. Admiration should be directed toward those who serve their Creator and serve as a genuine example for us, not toward someone running after a ball.

My question relates to sports classes held for women only. The instructor is a woman, and the space includes only girls. Is it permitted to exercise wearing only pants?
Yes, in this case it is permitted to exercise wearing pants.

I signed up for a gym that is women-only. May I wear a shirt with short sleeves (above the elbow)? After all, there are only women and female instructors there. In general, does the obligation of modesty apply even when only women are present?
It is permitted, when necessary, to wear shorter clothing in a place where there are no men. However, without such necessity, one should still maintain modesty even in a women-only space, out of respect for the Divine Presence (Kavod HaShechinah).

I’m 14 and I want to do teshuvah. But I play soccer on a professional team, and I want both — to grow spiritually and continue playing. Please help me.
There is absolutely no need for you to abandon soccer at this stage. You should begin learning the mitzvot of the Torah and fulfilling what you learn — all without preventing yourself from practicing soccer, as long as you do not desecrate Shabbat through the games. With God’s help, you will succeed in drawing closer to your Creator, just as you wish. Be well.

Is it permissible for a woman to go to a gym even if she is not married?
It is permitted, as long as the gym is strictly women-only.
