After her passing last week, the great Chassidic singer Avraham Fried posted a heartfelt message on social media, where he bids farewell and writes that along with the sorrow of his mother Mrs. Miriam Tzimel Friedman's death, there is also gratitude for her long life and years.
"My mother was 101 years old. She lived a life of joy, humility, and independence. Her beautiful smile still warms my heart, and her soft words still ring in my ears," the singer wrote.

I do not recall ever hearing my mother complain. Her strong faith in Hashem and the coming of the Messiah was unwavering.
"I was fortunate to receive many blessings from her for good health, joy from children and grandchildren, and success in work. All these and more will be my guiding light until the day we are reunited with the coming of the Messiah. May we all be comforted and merit to see the consolation of Zion and Jerusalem, Amen," Fried concluded.
