Helping Rebbetzin Yemima Mizrachi Save the Youths: The Project is Nearing Completion, Hurry!

It is an honor for us to tell you about a significant and truly sacred headstart project. A project that comes straight from the heart of Rebbetzin Yemima Mizrachi and her husband, Rabbi Chaim.

The rabbi and rebbetzin have accompanied us for many years, always standing ready whenever called upon at conferences, Shabbats, inspirational evenings, always with endless love and joy, to come and enlighten the soul.

This time... we are all standing ready to help them.

Two years ago, the rabbi and rebbetzin encountered several youths who had been expelled from the yeshiva framework, wandering the streets, exposed to its dangers, with deep feelings of frustration, failure, rejection, and unworthiness.

They decided that something must be done!

These youths need to find a home, and so from words to actions. They established a homey, supportive, and enabling framework and called the place – Avnei Kodesh.

Each one of these youths is akin to a sacred and precious stone, needing polishing to reveal the gold within (see Lamentations 4:1-2).

Soon the word spread, and from five youths, the group grew and today numbers over 40 youths, each one a world of its own, with a touching life story and a great hope for a better future.

At the Avnei Kodesh home, the youths find a place in the world.

A place – physical and spiritual.

They maintain a routine activity that includes studies, work, volunteering, each according to his ability.

And lo and behold,

from dim, rejected, and lack-of-faith youths, they grow and stand tall

finding themselves meaningful pursuits, and strengthening their faith in Hashem and in people, anew.

The existence of the Avnei Kodesh home falls entirely on the shoulders of Rebbetzin Yemima.

From lecture to lecture, from conference to conference, she travels and gives classes, literally - with real self-sacrifice.

And all the income is dedicated to these youths.

But, as Rabbi Chaim, the rebbetzin's husband says, in the words of Moshe Rabbeinu –

I cannot bear you alone.

And here, we come into the picture.

As an expression of gratitude to Rebbetzin Yemima, as partners and guarantors for the dear youths, and as real kindness in saving lives –

For 26 out of the 40 youths, there is a solution. 14 are waiting for your help.

This house is located in a village in the Jerusalem hills.

The location is excellent b"H

But the house is rundown,

abandoned and neglected

and not really a worthy place for the youths.

With the money we will raise with your help – we will ensure that this house does not close.

We will give it a breathing span of at least a year! And with Hashem's help during this time, we will work to institutionalize the activity and find permanent funding sources, both governmental and private.

We will renovate the place, and make sure it's worthy of being called a home.
