The blessing over beer is Shehakol (first blessing)

At the end of the meal, recite the blessing Borei Nefashot (last blessing)

The amount of consumption required to be obligated in the last blessing (from "Daily Halacha" based on the rulings of Maran Rabbi Ovadia Yosef zt"l):

For every item a person eats, they must recite a "first blessing," such as the blessing "Shehakol" or "Ha'etz." Even if they eat only a small portion of that food, they are obligated to bless, as long as it is consumed with the intent of eating. (However, if it is only tasted to correct seasoning, no blessing is recited for that consumption at all). Therefore, someone chewing flavored gum, even if swallowing only a very little of it, still must bless for the enjoyment of the gum's taste. Similarly, anyone drinking something must bless it, even if it is only a single drop of that drink.

However, all this applies specifically to the first blessing. For the last blessing, it is only recited when one has consumed a "significant amount" of food. The amount for significant consumption is the "kezayit," which is twenty-seven grams, and for drinking, the amount is "revi'it," which is eighty-one grams.

Additionally, the eating or drinking must occur within a specific time frame to be considered as one consumption. Because if a person eats the amount of a "kezayit" of bread throughout an entire day, crumb by crumb, they certainly cannot recite the grace after meals. Instead, the eating of a "kezayit" must occur within the time frame of "Achilat Pras," and there is a disagreement among the scholars regarding this time frame, with some saying it is five minutes and others about seven and a half minutes (and there are other opinions on this matter). Therefore, it is recommended to always eat a "kezayit" amount (especially during Shabbat meals) within four and a half minutes to satisfy all opinions.

Concerning the last blessing on a drink, one must drink a revi'it of the drink (which is eighty-one grams) in one go, for if they drink with pauses between each sip, they do not recite the last blessing at all. Hence, someone drinking soup with a spoon does not recite the last blessing for that soup, as they did not consume a revi'it in one go, and similarly, one drinking hot coffee or tea does not bless it with a last blessing, as they cannot drink it in one go.
