The U.S.-led Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) on Saturday released aerial footage showing Hamas terrorists looting an aid truck traveling as part of a humanitarian convoy in northern Khan Younis. The video, captured Friday night by a U.S. MQ-9 drone, depicts the terrorists attacking the truck driver and seizing the vehicle before driving away. The driver’s condition remains unknown.

According to the CMCC, the incident was detected through live drone surveillance used to monitor implementation of the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel. The coordination hub, located in Kiryat Gat near the Gaza border, was established to facilitate humanitarian, logistical, and security operations, and to oversee the terms of the current ceasefire.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the details of the footage and condemned Hamas for obstructing humanitarian efforts. “Operatives attacked the driver and stole the aid and truck after moving the driver to the road’s median,” the CENTCOM statement read. It added that the MQ-9 drone had been flying overhead “to monitor implementation of the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel.”

“Over the past week, international partners have delivered more than 600 trucks of commercial goods and aid into Gaza daily,” the CMCC statement continued. “This incident undermines these efforts. Nearly 40 nations and international organizations represented at the CMCC are working together to help flow humanitarian, logistical, and security assistance into Gaza.”

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said the raid and theft “undermines international efforts in support of President Trump’s 20-Point Plan to deliver critical assistance to innocent civilians.” He added, “Hamas continues to deprive the people of Gaza of the humanitarian aid they desperately need. Hamas is the impediment. They must lay down their arms and stop their looting so that Gaza can have a brighter future.”

Hamas denied the American allegations, calling them “false” and “part of a systematic disinformation campaign.” In a statement issued by the Hamas-run Gaza government media office, the group said the U.S. accusations “lack field evidence” and were intended to “distort the truth.”

The CMCC emphasized that the multinational coordination effort remains committed to ensuring the secure delivery of humanitarian aid into Gaza. International partners continue to transport hundreds of trucks daily carrying food, medical supplies, and fuel under the framework of the ceasefire monitoring agreement.

The incident marks the first release of U.S. military drone footage from Gaza since the ceasefire began and highlights the direct American role in supervising aid distribution and compliance by both sides.
