Ancient Egyptian Amulet Discovery in Zippori
A rare Egyptian amulet from the era of Ramses was discovered in Zippori by high school students from Kiryat Bialik. The amulet is believed to be approximately 3,300 years old.

Another discovery in Zippori: During an archaeological excavation, high school students from Kiryat Bialik found a special Egyptian amulet from the Ramses period, known as a 'scarab,' which is historically about 3,300 years old.
The archaeological dig is part of a future project by 'Netivei Israel,' responsible for the planning and development of a new, more accessible and convenient road to Zippori.
"The students were very excited, their eyes shining with the discovery," said the excavation manager, Nimrod Getzov. "When I approached to see what was found, I was very surprised to discover it was an Egyptian amulet, since such amulets are usually found only in tombs. Therefore, it is intriguing to find out how this one ended up here."
