#VALUE!
Did you know that the majority of people believe? The public facade doesn't show it. The media overlooks it. Various contributors on Wikipedia delete such information. But facts remain facts. Here they are:
Part One – The American Public
Did you know that 80% of the American public believes in a Creator? Yes, it’s true.
Did you know that 90% of the American public believes in a higher power? Yes, indeed.
See the attached PDF file for data from the Pew Research Center.
Part Two – The Israeli Public
In recent decades, and at the time of this writing, the public space in Israel has been secular and disconnected from the Creator. Billboards of immodesty, secular media encouraging LGBTQ, anti-religious and anti-ultra-Orthodox atmosphere, and more. But is the public truly that disconnected, or is this a false front?
Surprisingly, according to all surveys, 80% of the Jewish public in Israel believes in the Creator. Full charts are available in the attached PDF. Here’s a summary of the numbers:
Survey by the Israeli Democracy Institute – 80% of the public believes in a Creator.
Survey by the Jewish People Policy Institute – about 80% of the public believes in a Creator.
Survey from "Haaretz" – 80% believe in a Creator.
Wikipedia entry "Religion in Israel" – 80% believe in a Creator (Wikipedia, "Religion in Israel", 4.24).
Was it not said about this - "For it will not be forgotten from the mouths of their descendants" (Deuteronomy 31:21)?
This verse promises us from Hashem that the Torah of Israel will never be forgotten from the people of Israel. Furthermore:
"And as for Me, this is my covenant with them, says Hashem
My covenant... and My words... shall not depart...
from your mouth
and from the mouths of your descendants
and from the mouths of your descendants’ descendants
says Hashem
from this time and forever"
(Isaiah 59:21)
Against all odds, in the heart of a Western culture awash with desires, temptations, and disconnect from the Creator – we, the Jewish people, believe in Hashem.
