You Don't Need to Be Einstein to Recognize the Divine Creator

Even if thermodynamics is beyond me, how can we understand if there truly is a Creator of the universe?

In the previous article, we discovered that we don't need to grasp the essence or the profound wisdom of the Creator to understand His existence. Simply observing the intricate design of the universe, which far surpasses human intellect, is enough to acknowledge that the Creator of the universe possesses wisdom infinitely greater than ours.

For example, Professor Albert Einstein is viewed worldwide as one of the most brilliant minds of the 20th century. Why? Because he used his intellect to gain a deeper understanding of the universe (he won the Nobel Prize for discovering the photoelectric effect).

Einstein didn't create a new universe from scratch nor invented a new law of nature, he merely comprehended a particular order in the universe's structure. This understanding elevated him to be considered an extraordinary genius and a symbol of wisdom!

Now, what can we say about the One who crafted the mathematical laws that Einstein discovered? Could we even imagine that the Creator of the universe might not be wiser than Einstein? And who truly deserves more Nobel Prizes, the student of divine wisdom, or the Creator who authored wisdom itself...

Interestingly, Einstein recognized that his intellect was minuscule compared to the wisdom of the Creator in the universe. He wrote: "I am not an atheist. The human mind, no matter how skilled, cannot grasp the complexity of the cosmos. I might explain it with an analogy: we are like little children entering a vast library lined with books in various languages. The child knows someone must have written those books, but doesn’t know who or how, lacking understanding of their languages. The child notices a pattern in the arrangement of the books, a mysterious order it cannot grasp, but observes it vaguely. This seems to be the human mind's relation, even the most intelligent and educated ones, towards God" (Source: Albert Einstein, interview with George Sylvester Viereck, Glimpses of the Great, pp. 372-373).

Yet truthfully, one doesn't need to be Einstein to realize there is a Creator of the world. Even a child, by observing the immense order and wisdom in the world, can reach the obvious conclusion. How much more so can those who study the marvels of creation.

As we know, studying physics, chemistry, biology, medicine, psychology, zoology, and more requires many years of education, and each contains numerous branches. The vast range of knowledge in existence is too extensive for a single person to learn, even if one lived multiple lifetimes, and still much of nature's wisdom remains hidden.

Such immense complexity, demanding countless years of inquiry and consideration, testifies to a Creator whose wisdom far exceeds any human intellect, as the prophet said: "Lift up your eyes on high and see: Who created these? He who brings out their host by number; He calls them all by name" (Isaiah 40:26).
