#VALUE!
Inside a mother’s womb, two twin fetuses, one a believer and the other a skeptic, have a conversation. What might that sound like? Let's imagine it..
The Skeptic: Hey brother, do you really believe in life after birth?
The Believer: Yes, of course. Obviously, there’s life after birth. We’re here just to grow strong and prepare for the real life waiting out there. That’s what they tell us.
The Skeptic: What nonsense, there is no life after birth. Birth is the end. Can you even imagine what life there would be like?
The Believer: I don’t know all the details, but I believe there’s more light, we'll walk on our legs, and eat with our mouths. Many things will be different.
The Skeptic: Such gibberish. It’s impossible that we could walk independently and eat with our mouths. That's funny, since we have umbilical cords for nourishment! Obviously, our lives depend on the umbilical cord, and they’re very short. Those are the facts; it’s a pity you live in illusions.
The Believer: I’m sure we can live outside the womb too, but those are definitely different lives from here. We can only imagine, but it will be real. Many fetuses believe in it, and it’s hard to think they’re all wrong.
The Skeptic: But no one’s come back from there to tell us firsthand. Most fetuses don’t believe it, and rightly so. Logic dictates that life ends at birth and until then, we live in one big darkness. That’s it.
The Believer: No, no. I don’t know exactly what life outside will look like, but I know we’ll finally see our mother, and she’ll take care of us.
The Skeptic: Mother? You believe in a "mother"? Then where is she?! Why can’t we ever see or feel her? Leave it, those are just tales. You sound serious, how do you believe this nonsense? I only believe in facts.
The Believer: That's not true. I clearly believe she exists, that we're inside her, that she surrounds and protects us. It's thanks to her that we move and live; without her, we can't exist for even a moment.
The Skeptic: More nonsense. I don’t see any mother, and it’s obvious she doesn’t exist.
The Believer: I disagree. Don’t you notice that when everything is calm, when you focus and listen, you can hear her? You can sense she’s thinking about us, caring for us, and even sometimes feel her caressing us? Open your eyes, start paying attention! I wholeheartedly believe that even now, we have a mother, and that after birth she’ll embrace us, and then our real lives will begin.
And you...?
