Is All Belly Bloating Just Belly Fat? Understanding the Causes

When waste is too abundant, the liver cannot handle the load. Unable to store much fat, the body instead stores excess fat around internal organs.

Belly fat is the deep fat that surrounds internal organs, also known as "visceral fat." It wraps around the liver, intestines, stomach, and more. The unappealing appearance is the least of concerns. Health-wise, it can result in the development of illnesses and health issues.

It's important to recognize that not all belly bloating is necessarily belly fat. Other reasons need investigation.

Why does belly fat persist even when maintaining a balanced diet?

Our bodies store food for the long haul. Fat tissues act as reserves for tough times. In today's abundance, we face insulin resistance—the pancreas releases insulin to regulate sugar levels. The body fails to absorb sugar effectively into cells, causing blood sugar to convert into fat. This process tires the pancreas, weakens its function, and disrupts blood sugar balance.

The liver, acting as a lab for waste removal, processes waste from the food we consume. When waste is excessive, the liver is overburdened. Unable to store a significant amount of fat, the body compensates by storing excess fat around internal organs.

Some individuals have a thyroid gland that functions slowly, yet this isn’t always reflected in blood tests. Even if hormone levels remain normal, this hidden thyroid underactivity leads to fat storage rather than fat use.

Lack of proper sleep increases cortisol levels in the blood, elevating sugar levels and leading to fat deposits around the internal organs in the abdomen.

Another major reason for belly fat storage is the digestive system’s inability to effectively break down waste or handle the toxic load. The consumed food may not suit one’s age or physical condition.

Eating animal proteins late at night hinders the body's ability to break down and assimilate the protein. This weakens the system and wears down the mucous membranes, putting more strain on the liver, responsible for waste management. When it cannot perform its role, protein converts to fat stored in the abdomen.

Occasional liver cleansing is crucial for maintaining its effective functioning across various roles, promoting harmony and optimal health throughout the body's organs, impacting mental well-being as well.
