Most people don't know why they sweat.

Antiperspirants and perfumes have become an essential part of our lives, often without us stopping to wonder – could they actually be harmful?

Antiperspirants were invented because many people began to develop body odor. To combat this, deodorants are used every morning.

In reality, our body's sweating mechanism is not a flaw. It's a natural way for the body to rid itself of certain waste products and maintain its coolness, much like the intestines, liver, urinary tract, and lungs.

Our sweat glands are intended to keep our internal system clean. It's important to let the body sweat at least once a day for a few minutes. This helps maintain overall health, whereas blocking skin pores with chemicals is harmful.

When the body realizes that other excretory organs are overwhelmed, such as the colon, liver, lungs, and kidneys, it is forced to expel some toxic and excess waste through the skin. However, chemicals block this process. The deodorant might smell pleasant, but it causes a continuous buildup of toxins in the skin and connective tissues, increasing the proliferation of bacteria and risk of skin disorders.

It's important to understand that sweat itself is an odorless fluid; 99% of it is water, and regular sweat evaporates quickly from the skin.

Wearing cotton instead of synthetic fabrics helps avoid blocking skin pores and prevents the bad smell that can arise from sweating. Avoiding constipation and ensuring healthy bowel movements also help prevent unpleasant odors.

Additionally, it's recommended to do a liver cleanse through diet once a year for three months.

It's known that the active ingredients in commercial antiperspirants are aluminum zirconium or aluminum chloride. These chemicals react with the protein found in sweat, forming a plug that prevents the sweat gland from releasing fluids.

You can use natural antiperspirants that contain natural mineral salt, which doesn't block the skin's pores. They mask the odor and prevent bacteria from spreading. They are available at health food stores or pharmacies.
