Breathing is essential, but it's important to know how to do it correctly.
According to various studies, we are accustomed to four common breathing habits that don't benefit our health. Pay attention:
1. Holding Your Breath
Sometimes we hold our breath, especially in the middle of physical activity. This action can lead to a lack of oxygen in the lungs, dizziness, and even fainting.
If the exercise is particularly challenging, exhale slowly instead of holding your breath. Slow exhalation helps maintain oxygen flow to the muscles.
2. Overbreathing
Another mistake is taking fast breaths that result in inhaling more air than the body needs. This can create an imbalance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood. Additionally, overbreathing can lead to dizziness and sometimes exacerbate panic attacks.

3. Mouth Breathing
The correct way is to breathe through the nose, as this reduces the risk of respiratory infections.
Mouth breathing is not recommended because it involves inhaling dry air, which can lead to dry mouth and an increased risk of respiratory infections.
4. Quick and Shallow Breathing
Quick, shallow breaths are not advisable because they only fill the upper part of the lungs. This can cause fatigue and dizziness as the lungs are not getting the proper amount of oxygen.
