"Brushing teeth before breakfast not only helps remove plaque buildup but also stimulates saliva production. Saliva helps kill bacteria in your mouth," explains Dr. Sam Jethwa, Vice President of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

It's important to know that overnight, bacteria multiply in the mouth, which can lead to an unpleasant taste and bad breath.
