#VALUE!
Did you know the boomerang was invented by Aboriginal Australians, the native people of Australia? These ancient hunters developed a remarkable tool: when thrown in just the right way, it spins gracefully through the air and returns to the thrower! While similar throwing tools existed in other cultures, it was the Aboriginal people who perfected this unique curved design. Today, you’ll find simple versions used in games and sports, but the original boomerang was much more than a toy, it was an impressive hunting invention.
What Is Smog, Really?
Smog is a thick, dirty fog that often covers cities with heavy air pollution. The word itself is a combination of “smoke” and “fog,” and that’s pretty much what it is. Smog forms when smoke from cars, buses, and factories mixes with fog or moisture in the air.
It may look hazy, but smog can be very dangerous to our health. Depending on what chemicals are in it, it can cause breathing problems and other serious illnesses. That’s why so many countries are working to reduce pollution and protect people from its effects.
The World’s Tallest Pyramid
The tallest pyramid in the world is the Great Pyramid of Giza, located in Egypt. It stands at an amazing height of 137 meters (about 450 feet). But this pyramid isn’t just tall, it’s also one of the oldest human-made structures still standing today.
What makes it even more impressive is how it was built. The pyramid is made of over two million large stones, each weighing more than two tons. Imagine the strength and coordination it must have taken to build something like that, thousands of years ago, without any of the modern machines we have today.
