What Is a Pixel?
A pixel is a tiny dot of color on a screen. The word "pixel" comes from “picture element.” When you put millions of these tiny dots together, they form the pictures we see on phones, computers, and TVs. Each pixel is made from three main colors, and each of these colors can have 256 levels of brightness. That’s how screens can show over 16 million different colors!
Where Did Gunpowder Come From?
Gunpowder, used in weapons like guns and fireworks, was first made in China a long time ago. Even as far back as 300 BCE, the Chinese would heat bamboo until it exploded just for fun! Around the 9th century, they created the first real gunpowder, and by the 10th century, they were using it in simple weapons. By the 13th century, it spread to Europe and eventually to the rest of the world through wars.
The World’s Biggest Passenger Plane
The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger airplane in the world. It’s called a “super-jumbo” jet and has two full floors. The top floor usually holds the luxury seats and first-class, while the lower floor is for regular economy seating. Some versions even have extras like meeting rooms, lounges, kids' play areas, gyms, shops, and showers. It’s one of the most expensive planes ever made costing close to half a billion dollars!
