What's 3D All About?
You’ve probably heard of “3D” or seen a 3D movie, but what does that actually mean?
A dimension is like a direction. A straight line has one direction, that’s one dimension. A square has two, length and width, so that’s two dimensions. Add height, like in a cube, and you have three dimensions. That’s 3D!
When we see a 3D image, it tricks our eyes into thinking we’re seeing all three dimensions, even though the picture itself is flat. It’s a smart way of making things look real and full of depth.
Who Invented Super Glue?
You might know it as “three-second glue,” and it’s great for quick fixes but it was actually discovered by accident!
A scientist named Harry Coover was trying to make clear plastic for the military. During his research, he came across a substance that instantly hardened when it touched moisture. At the time, he didn’t think it was useful. Years later, while working on adhesives for airplanes, he remembered that sticky material and that’s how super glue came to be!
Where Is the Deepest Cave in the World?
The deepest known cave on Earth is called Krubera Voronya, and it’s found in the Caucasus Mountains in Abkhazia.
People call it the “Everest of caves,” because it’s like the tallest mountain just in the opposite direction, going deep underground instead of high into the sky. It’s a hidden, mysterious world far beneath the surface!
