Raviv Kaner: "We Need to Show Hezbollah Who's Boss"
While on reserve duty in the north, singer Raviv Kaner doesn't shy away from expressing his strong views on the Palestinian conflict and northern tensions. "We need complete separation from Gaza—anyone approaching the fence should say goodbye. They're all terrorists there," he states, believing there is no room for diplomatic agreements.

Singer Raviv Kaner is currently serving as a reservist in the "Swords of Iron" military operation. Recently involved in the northern confrontations, his focus is also on the south. "The most important thing right now is to bring back the hostages," he tells Yedioth Ahronoth. "Once they return, anyone getting within 500 meters of the fence should say goodbye."
Kaner proposes a clear-cut solution: "Total separation. I don't want any responsibility for them. They should provide their own electricity. Set a clear line with Gaza, and shoot at anyone who approaches."
Regarding the north, he asserts the need for a firm stance against Hezbollah: "We need to show them the owner has gone mad. I'm tired of these games."
Kaner has found himself in active reserves for more than two months. In an interview, he describes the impact of the fighting on his mental state, revealing new fears that have surfaced during the battles: "I discovered I have a fear of the dark, which surprised me."
As for the political situation, he's pessimistic: "There's no such thing as political agreements anymore. We're in the Middle East, and we need to act accordingly, not like we're in Switzerland. They don't respect us or the agreements."
Kaner no longer believes in the possibility of internal change in Gaza: "I used to think maybe the Gazans would overthrow Hamas, but now I don't think there's anyone there who wants that. They're all involved, all terrorists."
Regarding the possibility of facing the Hague tribunal, he replied: "Let them call me; I wish they would call me to the Hague," Kaner concludes.
