Jewish Star Speaks Out Against Student Protesters
Actor and comedian Brett Gelman strongly condemns pro-Palestinian student protests blocking Jewish students from campuses.

Film star Brett Gelman recently spoke out sharply against pro-Palestinian protests targeting Israel on U.S. university campuses. He criticized students who have barricaded themselves on campuses to prevent Jewish students from entering.
Gelman, 47, is Jewish. Since the onset of the conflict, he has been adamantly supportive of Israel. In an interview with TMZ, conducted while he was at Los Angeles Airport, he explained, "I do believe in freedom of speech, but if people spread hate and incitement and resort to violence, they need to be expelled (from the university). That's it."
Gelman was then asked how universities should respond and he replied, "If the protests were against other groups... if they (the protesters) were blocking Black students and not letting them onto campus, they would be shut down immediately - as they should be. The fact that these people don't recognize Jewish pain just reveals their agenda. Besides, I have participated in protests for Israel without wearing masks. All these people wore masks."
"I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but all this seems very suspiciously coordinated. So these protests are not just against injustice - it's a coordinated group we've seen before... that the Jewish people have seen before, throughout history," he concluded. "It's basically a replay of what happened in the 1930s when Jewish students were not allowed into universities in Germany."
