Chilling Coincidence: The Book Read by the Kidnapped Solider
The daughter of the kidnapped Shlomo Mansour reveals a haunting moment when she found the book her father was reading on his couch, opening to a page that held special meaning on the day it was discovered.

There are events so mystical that rational and sober explanations elude them, such as the recent story making headlines about the book that kidnapped Shlomo Mansour (86), the oldest hostage still held in Gaza, was reading.
This revelation comes from none other than his daughter, Moshit Mansour, who said it was the book 'Shark', written by a former Mossad man named Mishka Ben-David.
According to Moshit, she found the book on the couch in her father's home, bookmarked on page 157 - a page number that took on an eerie significance when discovered. "He reached page 157, exactly the number of days since the abduction. I read up to page 157 as well, but I have no intention of continuing the book. It's like a 'draft' of the mishap that happened here."
The back cover description of the book corroborates her story, apparently describing events eerily similar to those of October 7. "Members of Hamas's tunnel unit break into the heart of an Israeli settlement," writes Mishka Ben-David, drawing in the devoted reader. "A massive human convoy exits Gaza's borders and moves toward Ashkelon. Hezbollah joins in with rocket fire and an infantry attack. A severe Israeli response is swift, and the Middle East is quickly drawn into total war."
"An attack on Kibbutz Gaza, Nachal Oz, and many other settlements is also mentioned in the book. It's chilling that this is what my father was reading," Moshit concluded.
