The father of the abducted Idan Shitrit is growing stronger in his faith.

In a conversation with Avi Mimran on 'Radio Kol Chai,' Eli Shitrit shared that he committed to observing Shabbat five weeks ago and started wearing tefillin from the day his son was kidnapped. "Everyone here has grown in faith," he says. "When words fail, we turn to prayer. I've been keeping Shabbat for five weeks now. I took on the practice of putting on tefillin from day one."

"I pray to Hashem with tears to bring back the abducted and give strength to the leaders and myself to hold on. I truly feel that Hashem is helping me."
