#VALUE!
We may not know who this remarkable speaker is, but there's no doubt he deserves to be named 'Person of the Year' from our perspective. In front of large audiences, he articulates why he champions the cause of Jews around the world, who are demeaned simply for being Jewish.
"Often, people ask me why I care so much. Why do I choose to voice my opinions openly, and fight against antisemitism at every possible venue? What I always respond with is: 'You're asking the wrong question.'
"The question isn't why I've chosen to speak out. The question is why others have chosen to remain silent when it comes to Jews, essentially since the Holocaust. Dr. King once said that history repeats itself, and that the greatest tragedies are not the strident shouts of the wicked, but the appalling silence of the good."
