While tidying up her son's bedroom, a British woman named Carrie revealed on social media what she discovered behind his bed, and it wasn't a pleasant sight.

Carrie uploaded a video to TikTok, showcasing what she found when she moved her son's bed away from the wall to clean the room. The video shows large mold stains that had spread across the wall behind the bed. She cautioned viewers not to make the same mistake she did and urged them to periodically move beds and furniture to check the condition of their walls.

Carrie mentioned that just a week earlier she had cleaned the spot with an anti-mold solution and put the bed back in place. However, after a week, when she moved the bed again, she noticed the mold had returned and spread across the wall. She tried using the anti-mold solution again, but the mold would not go away. She even purchased a special device designed to purify the air and dust in the room, hoping it would help.

Carrie reached out to her followers for help and said in the meantime she had moved the bed away from the wall to improve room ventilation. The video garnered over 900,000 views and thousands of comments, with suggestions ranging from using vinegar, painting the wall with special anti-mold paint, removing the wallpaper, seeking professional help, and some even suggested tearing down the wall and building a new one.

Mold on walls tends to appear mainly during winter when all the windows are closed and there is no ventilation. Therefore, it's advisable to ventilate the house daily, especially the bathroom and laundry room, and not to place furniture too close to walls since it prevents good air circulation by the wall..
