Thirty-two years ago, Doron Shorshan, may his memory be a blessing, was murdered in Gush Katif. His son, Avichai Shorshan, wrote this week: "32 years without a father. In the very brief hesitation I had, between taking a short break to visit the grave and staying to fight in Khan Younis, the choice was easier than ever.

"Just before Shabbat ended, we returned from another attack on a Hamas stronghold in the south of the Gaza Strip.

"More terrorists dead, more ammo depots destroyed, more quality intel collected on the ground and relayed back to the relevant parties. We came back from the attack, lit a memorial candle, said 'Kaddish', and onward for orders for the next attack. We push forward, until victory. Until victory".

Avichai also met his brother Yair in Gaza, and together they said an emotional 'Kaddish' for the elevation of their father's soul, may his memory be a blessing.
