#VALUE!
A robot from Tesla, Elon Musk's electric car company, 'attacked' a software engineer working at the company brutally, as the machine's metal fingers dug into him.
The engineer, an expert in programming aluminum-cutting robots, reported that the incident took place about two years ago at a plant in Austin, Texas.
Why did he wait until now to speak out? It's well-known that Tesla's factory safety standards are not exactly the highest, and the company has previously faced criticism about the constant dangers faced by its workers.
The report came to light only after Tesla filed an accident report with federal authorities, detailing what happened and revealing that the robot was likely malfunctioning. Witnesses stated that the engineer and his team had deactivated two robots scheduled for repair but forgot to disable the third robot, leading to the incident.
As a result of the injury, the engineer fell into an aluminum waste chute, though Tesla claimed in the report that his injury was moderate and did not prevent him from returning to work.
