Why Adding Cosmetic Pads to Your Dryer Is Going Viral

One of the most viral tips we've found online is about improving the fragrance of laundry dried in the dryer. 

It's well-known that one of the biggest drawbacks of a dryer is that by the end of the cycle, the delightful scent of the fabric softener often vanishes without a trace. This hack, shared on social media and gaining over 200,000 views, presents a simple trick involving a cosmetic pad (yes, the same pad you use to clean your skin before bed).

You dip this pad in a bowl with your favorite fabric softener on both sides and place it in the dryer's filter before running the dryer. 

Many users who tried it claim it's one of the best tricks that keeps the laundry smelling great. However, some users mentioned that the pad might disintegrate in the dryer and suggested alternative methods: one of these is spreading half a cup of baking soda inside the machine drum, followed by adding a few drops of a nice-smelling essential oil like jasmine, lavender, lemon, etc. 

Another method suggested by users is to drip a few drops of essential oil directly into the drum and onto the dryer filter.
