How to Easily Remove Turmeric Stains from Your Hands
Cooked with turmeric and ended up with colorful hands? Don't worry, there's an easy fix.

Have you ever found your fingertips glowing orange after using turmeric? Even if it's not a common occurrence for you, it's good to have a simple stain-removal trick up your sleeve for whenever it is needed.
There are many methods out there, but we've found one that's both effective and kind to your skin. A common mistake is using bleach, but we don't recommend this approach—it's harsh on your skin and doesn't always do the job.
Our preferred method involves using sugar and lemon juice in equal parts. The sugar's gritty texture acts as a natural exfoliating scrub, helping to capture the turmeric pigment and slough off dead skin cells.
So how do you make this natural turmeric cleaner?
Take a quarter cup of sugar and two tablespoons of lemon juice. Mix well until you have a uniform paste, then apply it generously to all stained areas of your hands. Rub your hands for several minutes, then wash with warm water. Repeat the process if necessary.
