The famous French YouTuber, Di-Merci dimerci TV, decided to conduct a social experiment with passersby in Paris: Would they assist a person in distress who seemed ready to end his life?

On his YouTube channel, which boasts over 3 million subscribers and nearly 2 billion views, Di-Merci released a video showing himself ostensibly pouring gasoline on himself near a local café, observing who in the vicinity might come to his aid. The video reveals that despite the clear nature of the unfolding events, the café patrons and passersby merely stared and ignored his plight entirely.

It was only when he pulled out a lighter that one man sprang into action, knocking the lighter from his hand. This man was a young Jewish person wearing a kippah, who, after knocking the lighter away, seated Di-Merci aside in an attempt to calm him.

In recent days, the video has spread massively. Hundreds of thousands have watched it on Di-Merci's YouTube channel. The video has gone viral on the Internet, and it can be assumed millions of people have viewed it.

Online viewers expressed great respect and admiration for the young man who didn't hesitate for a moment and "saved" the life of the famous YouTuber. His noticeable Jewish appearance resulted in a sanctification of Hashem's name among the millions who watched the video.

"Fantastic job, young man. May Hashem bless you," commented one viewer. "What a sick world. He could be anyone's son or brother. People have become significant disappointments. Everyone looks at him as if he's an alien, but no one stands up to save him. This man is an angel and stayed with him to ensure he wouldn't attempt it again. May Hashem bless these angels all over the world," noted another viewer.
