Does Your Grandma Have Vintage Pyrex? It Might Be Worth Thousands!
The bankruptcy of a kitchenware company caused vintage Pyrex prices to skyrocket overnight on eBay. One special dish sold for $20,000.

The bankruptcy of Instant Brands, the company that owns the famous Pyrex brand, has sent the second-hand kitchenware market into a spin.
The prices for Pyrex casseroles, baking dishes, and other kitchen items have transformed into collector's items since the company will no longer produce them. This situation has been exploited by some to make a substantial profit.
This week, old Pyrex items started selling on auction sites for thousands of dollars, depending on the country. Pyrex dishes, like those from grandma's kitchen, are now fetching prices from $2,100 up to $20,000 per piece from the brand.
Now, many Israelis who found such dishes at home or at grandma's have decided to put them up for sale. Despite the high price, these items hold sentimental value, which is why they're snapped up quickly, especially by collectors. On eBay, we found Pyrex items valued at $5,700 and above. These mainly include dishes with fruit illustrations, which were used in the past for slow-cooking meals.
