A video of her young son, Rif Rafael Dadon shows the boy reciting the traditional Jewish morning prayer “Modeh Ani” and explaining: “Do you know what I say in my prayer? I say thank you for my mom, thank you for my dad, thank you to God for a new day, and thank you for our soldiers.”
The video, captioned “What are you thankful for this morning?”, was widely shared for its innocence and heartfelt gratitude.
Dadon also posted a strong message of support for Israel’s ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) community, writing “Haredim and proud” alongside photos of Haredi soldiers serving in various IDF units, including the Home Front Command, Artillery Corps, Golani Brigade, and Netzah Yehuda Battalion.
She later shared a post from Hidabroot, an Israeli Jewish media organization, highlighting the story of the Halperin family, a Haredi family that won a reality TV competition examining which form of education is best for children.
