Make Your Own Homemade Butter with Just One Ingredient
If you're a fan of DIY kitchen projects, this homemade butter recipe is a must-try. It's simple yet results in delicious, enhanced butter that's anything but boring.

I could live on butter without any issues.
But sometimes the 'boring' regular butter just doesn't do it for me. I often find myself wishing my butter had some green onion, black pepper, or perhaps was coated in seeds and nuts of various kinds.
If you love butter as much as I do, join me in making incredible homemade butter that, aside from a slightly lengthy process, requires virtually no additional effort.
For this recipe, you'll need only one ingredient besides the seasonings: two containers of 38% heavy cream (anything less just won't cut it).
Using a mixer, start whipping the heavy cream as demonstrated in this video:
Optional Add-ins for Your Butter:
Rosemary leaves
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
A bunch of chopped chives
A bunch of chopped cilantro
1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
1/2 teaspoon chopped dill
1/2 teaspoon curry
6 drops of truffle olive oil
For coating: Finely chopped seeds and nuts
Instructions
Whip the cream well until you get a crumbly, stable lump.
Tighten your lump with your hands, and place it in a bowl of ice water (ice cubes covered with cold water) for about ten minutes.
Season your lump of butter with the add-ins you've chosen, coat it in the seed and nut mixture, and chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
Enjoy!
