The 'Breathing' Forest: A Canadian Natural Phenomenon
Have you heard about the 'breathing' forest in Canada? If not, you must see it in action.

This forest in Quebec, Canada, has become a worldwide attraction due to an extraordinary phenomenon that resembles a sort of earthquake.
This forest, known as Sacre-Coeur, is in constant motion: trees sway from side to side without collapsing, the ground rises and falls back into place, branches whistle telling a different story, and everything speaks of an 'unrest'.
So, what exactly is this phenomenon? According to Mark Sirius, a meteorologist at the local weather channel, it's a meteorological occurrence that happens during winter, where the entire forest seems to 'breathe' to absorb the intense winds and rains in the area.
"This phenomenon occurs during heavy storms in the region," Sirius explains. "It's truly amazing to see how the ground rises and falls in a 'breathing' movement. It's exceptional to witness how the roots of the mossy vegetation covering the ground lift it and then return to 'rest' together. This all happens thanks to the strong winds that push the trees, which in turn push the roots, lifting the ground with them."
