Snake On A Plane: Uninvited Guest On United Airlines Flight

A snake caused panic on a plane when it was discovered in the cabin, surprising passengers. The travelers on the flight from Florida to New Jersey didn't expect this kind of surprise. Luckily, the unwelcome reptile was found when they were already on the ground, not in the air.

The plane landed safely after a two-and-a-half-hour journey, during which screams were heard from the plane's business class. Flight attendants reported that passengers noticed a snake crawling between their legs and were understandably scared. It was later identified as a garter snake, which is not venomous.

The pilots informed the airport about their unexpected guest, and when they landed in New Jersey, veterinary services were there waiting, accompanied by police.

Passengers were not allowed to disembark until the snake was removed from the plane. Despite the alarm it caused, the incident ended without injuries. After the passengers had left the aircraft, a thorough inspection was conducted to ensure no more snakes were on board.

It is still unknown whether the snake boarded the plane in Florida or was already on board and how exactly it entered the cabin. One theory suggests the snake might have gotten into a passenger's carry-on bag.

Surprisingly, this is not the first time an animal has been found on a flight. Last February, a snake crawled over passengers' heads on an AirAsia flight, drawing significant attention on social media. In 2016, Aeromexico passengers noticed a snake in the overhead compartments, and just two months later, a live snake was found in a passenger's suitcase on an Emirates flight.
