Miracle in Beitar Illit: Bicycle Burns, Tefillin Remain Intact

A miracle in Beitar Illit: Firefighters responded to a blaze in an apartment caused by an electric bike battery igniting. They were amazed to find that while the bike was completely destroyed, the tefillin nearby were unharmed.

"It's a clear and open miracle," said Commander Avi Ben Sadon of the 'Regional Station Yehuda' Fire and Rescue, who led the team extinguishing the fire.

According to him, when they arrived at the scene, they found an apartment in flames due to the electric bike connected to the power. The firefighters worked for a long time to put out the fire, and during their efforts, they discovered a tefillin bag that was charred by the flames but its contents remained intact, much to everyone's astonishment.

Following the fire, Ben Sadon emphasizes the guidelines for charging electric bikes and reminds everyone of the necessary precautions. "Do not leave electric bikes unattended or charge them overnight. Only use an original battery and disconnect them from the power once charging is complete," he concludes.
