A Miracle in Turkey: Malik Saret, a 32-year-old young mother, arrived at the state hospital suffering from severe pain in her fifth month of pregnancy. The medical team was forced to induce early labor and pronounced the newborn dead. However, shortly after, the devastated parents were astonished to discover that their baby had actually survived.
Two weeks prior, Malik had experienced pain and visited the local hospital where she was treated and released three days later. As her condition worsened again, she was transferred to a different hospital where doctors explained she was having a miscarriage through early stillbirth, even issuing a death certificate for the newborn.
The father, Hasan, with his son's death certificate.
The parents, already mourning the son they were eagerly expecting, were preparing to say goodbye. Father Hasan took the newborn to the cemetery for a farewell ceremony. To his shock, on the way to the burial, the baby began to cry, astonishing both him and the medical staff. "I was in shock when I heard my baby's cry," Hasan said. "At first, I didn't believe it, but when I removed the shroud, I saw he was alive. It's something I've never seen or heard in my life. The pain I felt as a father is indescribable. They handed him to me as dead, instructed me to bury him alive. If there was negligence, I want an investigation."
Currently, the baby is fighting for his life in the intensive care unit, and his parents have issued a call for blood donations to aid his survival. Simultaneously, an investigation has been launched against the hospital to determine whether any medical negligence occurred.
