Rabbi Yitzhak Batzri's Close Encounter in an Arab Village
While en route to teach a class, Rabbi Yitzhak Batzri accidentally drove into an Arab village alone. Quick-thinking dispatchers and police escorted him to safety.

Last week, Rabbi Yitzhak Batzri was on his way to teach a Torah class in the city of Dimona. However, he mistakenly drove into an Arab village and began to feel unsafe. He called the police dispatch, and the operator immediately realized he could be in danger. A patrol car was dispatched to the area, located the rabbi, and escorted him out. With the guidance of the officers, the rabbi safely reached his destination, thank Hashem.
When the two officers recognized Rabbi Batzri, they were thrilled and asked to take a photo with him. The shared photo was posted on the rabbi's Facebook page, with the caption: "Thank you very much to officers Boaz Hirsch and Rotem Cohen from the Ar'ara Negev Police for their kindness and concern for the rabbi's safety, and of course to the caring operator who directed the forces on the ground. May Hashem protect all the IDF soldiers, Israeli police officers, and all His people Israel, amen!"
