Meet the Man with the World's Longest Nose

Every year, countless individuals from around the globe attempt to break the record for the "person with the longest nose in the world"—a title held by a Turkish man named Mehmet Özyürek. Özyürek was crowned with this title in 2010, and just this past Thursday, Guinness World Records announced an official confirmation that he remains the "undisputed king of large noses."

"We tried everything to find someone with a longer nose than Mehmet Özyürek, but to no avail," shared the Guinness World Records team. "His magnificent nose, measuring an impressive 8.8 cm, is still the longest among living individuals."

However, the previous record holder was an English historian who has since passed away, leaving behind an all-time record. A wax replica of this former record-holder's nose has been displayed for years at the traveling Ripley's Believe It Or Not museum, which tours globally.
