Heartwarming Moment Captures Young Friendship
Five-year-old Ruby, living with a rare and incurable illness, was filmed sitting in her new electric wheelchair as her friend Abby whispered words of encouragement into her ear.

A magical and touching moment was captured on camera, documenting a little girl named Abby helping her wheelchair-bound friend, Ruby.
Ruby, a five-year-old girl living with a rare and incurable disease, was filmed as she sat in her new electric wheelchair. Her friend Abby approached her, whispering words into her ear that later turned out to be words of encouragement.
Those who came close could hear Abby whispering phrases like 'It'll be okay, you can do this', 'Try it, and I'll push you from behind', and more.
Abby even took Ruby's hands, placed them on her chair, and encouraged her to move the wheelchair, which to everyone's surprise, she did, much to her mother's amazement.
"Within minutes, I saw Ruby managing to operate her new chair entirely by herself, even though she had struggled with it before and refused to try," Ruby's mom shared excitedly.
Onlookers initially giggled at the emotional scene, but as they watched Ruby's progress thanks to her friend's support, their giggles transformed into feelings of admiration. "We witnessed moments of pure love and joy between Ruby and her friend Abby," Ruby's mom recalled in a social media post. "My daughter Ruby has leukodystrophy, a disease affecting the white matter of the brain, making it difficult for her brain to send commands to her body. This is why she struggles with everyday tasks and, unfortunately, there is no cure for her condition. Her only remedy is Abby, who helps her see the bright side of life. The power of their love and connection inspires us, and the video of Abby encouraging Ruby to use the new chair has already touched seven million people."
